About this Dog
COURTESY LISTING - Please contact person below with inquiries. ~5 years old. Good with kids and dogs. Not good with cats. Joanne Rendon Spartanburg, SC [email protected] 864-279-3680 Date Posted: 08/30/24 Halsey was seconds away from euthanasia when I made the last minute decision to take him home. He just seemed like a great dog, and I couldn't stand there and watch him get euthanized. He was only going to get euthanized because the finder found him as a stray, and tried to find him other arrangements with no success. He is heartworm positive, and needs to undergo treatment. He is SO SMART and LOVES toys. He LIVES to chase a ball. He just needs "his person." I watch him and feel guilt every day for not being able to let him free roam the house. He is basically a prisoner in my home, and needs to break free! I have several rescue cats, and he is way too interested in them(typical for this breed.) He deserves so much more than I am able to provide him. He is a good dog that just needs someone to love him. He does great in public, and is very friendly. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG.
