About this Cat
DOB 9/15/23 Hey there, everyone! I’m Finch, a super-sweet, calm, laid-back dilute calico beauty who just adores spending quality time with my hoomans and snuggling with them while we cat nap on the sofa together. I’m quite uniquely marked in that my front right leg is gray, and my left leg is cream tabby. But I’m no couch potato! Nor siree! I love to play interactively with Foster Meowmy by batting at the feather wand toy as well as chasing the red laser dot around the room. When my heartless owners moved out of the neighborhood, they just abandoned me as a small kitten to fend for myself outdoors. Fortunately, my future foster meowmy’s teenage son found me lying half-dead in a tire-well in their yard. He brought me home and nursed me back to full health. (Boy howdy, what an amazing young man!!) When I was at a HOPE adoption event, one of the volunteers noticed that I wobbled slightly when I walked. Foster Meowmy immediately took me to HOPE’s vet, who diagnosed me as having an extremely mild case of “wobbly cat syndrome.” This is a congenital disorder that was passed in utero because my pregnant momma was either severely malnourished, poisoned, physically traumatized, or infected with the panleukopenia virus. Consequently the part of my brain that controls my motor skills and coordination is stunted, so I waddle slightly when I walk and often topple over when I attempt to jump down from the sofa. However, being a bit clumsy doesn’t slow me down one bit. I still love to play and chase around like a normal cat. In fact, most vets recommend that wobbly cats get an abundance of exercise that encourages us to use our paws (without our claws being clipped in case we need to steady ourselves). By playing with Foster Meowmy and Foster Teenage Brother, my condition actually improves because I adapt and learn to compensate as I use other parts of my brain. Now I’m ready to find my forever (indoor-only) home! I’m looking for a low-key someone who’ll play with me, and then we can snuggle up and take a cat nap together. I haven’t been around other cats, cat-friendly dogs, or small children, but I’m young and gentle enough that I just might adapt. If you’re looking for a sweet, responsive kitty who loves interacting with her hoomans, I’m the gal for you! I’m ready and more than willing to reciprocate your cherished devotion. Arrange to meet me today! Please begin the process of claiming Finch #snuggle-queen's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Finch #snuggle-queen was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Finch #snuggle-queen’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Finch #snuggle-queen’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Finch #snuggle-queen’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
