About this Dog
Heidi is a collie/sheltie mix At 10 months, vivacious Heidi is still a puppy. She is happy and eager to learn and to please. She is house trained, but she is still let out every four hours to be certain there aren’t accidents. She is happy to go in the crate at night and sleeps through till morning. Heidi can be a bit reserved when meeting a new person, but people go quickly from stranger to friend in no time. If you want her to get over any reticence in record time, bring a treat when you meet her. Heidi loves treats and is happy to meet new people and learn new skills to earn them. Heidi gets along well with the other dogs and she does fine with cats who are dog savvy. This beautiful, shiny black-coated girl loves her toys. So much so that when her foster mom puts them away, Heidi is delighted to help her by taking them all out again. She loves to run in the yard to work off that puppy energy and does do zoomies inside, but she will settle down in her spot. It might sound like Heidi isn’t a cuddler, but she loves to cuddle too. Heidi is happy and loving. She would probably do best with an active person or one with a dog sibling to help her work off her puppy drive. Heidi is the complete collie and sheltie combined into one beautiful package.
