About this Dog
Animal Profile: Zena is an estimated 1-year-old 39 lb spayed female mixed breed who is friendly and social with people and dogs. She was kenneled at the San Bernardino city shelter with SEVEN (!!!) other dogs). She will be joining us on Sunday 9/1/24 and we will share more about her as we get to know her in foster care. Foster Update: Meet Zena, a bundle of joy! Her stunning eyes and unique look will be the talk of the neighborhood.Zena is friendly and affectionate with people and dogs, she is intelligent and food motivated -- she learned Sit, Spin, Down, Paw and Wait in just a few days! Zena is looking for a home with a patient owner to guide her through leash training (she's still a swerve-y puppy), continued potty training to prevent accidents and gentle correction and firm leadership to help her be the best dog she can be. Zena does get warm quickly, so a cool place to rest would be great. She needs an active household that can provide her the mental and physical stimulation that she needs -- she is so smart and eager to learn she would be great at so many activities. Zena is and energetic and playful bundle with lots of love to give! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Adopt Zena and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Zena's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Zena's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Zena, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Zena's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Zena was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Zena’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Zena’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Zena’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
