About this Dog
Hoss is the sweetest dog. He is a two year old Harlequin Great Dane who loves to cuddle and thinks he’s a lapdog despite being about 90 pounds. He quickly took to sleeping in his foster’s lap, even though he is a big guy. He is great with the resident dog and will be happy with other dogs in his home. Sweet Hoss was found in terrible living conditions. He was neglected and living outside in a cage/dog house. He is underweight and working on getting to a healthy weight, but still needs to gain weight and will be over 100 pounds soon. Hoss is very loving. He wants to be around at all times. You can tell he’s just happy to be around people that actually want him. The family that adopts Hoss will need to have patience. He has not lived inside and is getting used to indoor life along with house and crate training. He’s basically like a 2 year old, large puppy, but he’s very smart and listens well. Hoss is pretty strong despite being so malnourished. He would do really well with someone who has experience with large dogs. Anyone who adopts Hoss will be getting a lot of love, a lot of cuddles and a lot of licks. A family would be lucky to have him. If you are interested in adopting Hoss please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age. ***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***

Adopt Hoss and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hoss's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Hoss's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Hoss, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Hoss's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hoss was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hoss’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Hoss’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hoss’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
