About this Dog
Meet Mo … Mo is a teeny tiny boy and the BIGGEST Miracle! He is a 4 1/2 month old Toy Shih-Poo who, on arrival, was only 1.3 lbs, limp and lethargic. He came to us very sick, barely hanging on, and in serious, serious distress. The enitre Wagmor Team shifted into overdrive, and everyone was all-hands-on-deck in a heartbeat! We activated very experienced experts & Veterinarians and were able to quickly determine that he was suffering from an allergy to chicken and a terrible case of parasites. All of which, for such a little guy, was beyond devastating to his system, and he was literally at 6% total blood volume. Mo required immediate emergency transfusion and 24 hr round-the-clock medical foster care. The very first night he required puppy CPR and other lifesaving intervention a couple of times. The medical fosters slept in shifts while someone kept eyes on him, for every second, for the first 4 days. Once the vet treated the parasites & transfused him, and a food allergy was suspected, the chicken was immediately pulled from his diet and he was switched to Salmon, Cod & Lamb, fresh vegetables, blueberries and strawberries. To everyone's absolute shock - our prayers were answered and this little spitfire started to rebound and heal right in front of our eyes. His recovery was amazingly fast! Many tears of deep joy have been shed during his transformation. He went from a wimpering, shivering, struggling litte peanut into a vibrant, bright little guy who will very happily (and forcefully) demand to be picked up and cuddled. He has the sweetest little bark and huge flirty big brown eyes under a curly mop of hair! He is now just over two pounds, thriving, and loving life. He's amazingly adventurous, and loves to explore, and he thinks he is one of the big dogs that roam around the fosters' home.He loves toys - he loves to cuddle - and he loves to do your your toes a chomp, and chase a 50lb cattle healer around the couch! And MOST importantly, he is ready for adoption and to finally be settled in with his perfect, furever family!! Mo is so sweet - a charming, funny, goofy, and super gentle soul - and ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! If you think Mo is the one for you, please quickly reach out and apply. We will set you up with a FaceTime to meet with him, virtually, via his foster family, and get the process going. Long term - he will need a diet that does not have any chicken which is fairly easy to accommodate with careful research and scrutiny. While Mo will be the perfect addition to a home with or without dogs, we are certain he will thirve with a doggo or catto fremdo. We know the right family is out there. Let's get this little guy home! :)
