About this Dog
Gypsy is approx. 10 years old and female Jack Russel Terrier mix, possibly with some beagle. She is a very gentle, calm and sweet girl and gets along with dogs, cats and all humans, incl. kids. She is great in the car and would probably travel well on airplanes. She has moderate to low energy and is very easy to train and live with, needs no correction. Earlier this year, she lost her human companion of many years and spent the next 2 mos. living in an empty house with only brief visits for food and potty. She was rescued and put through a thorough medical protocol that incl. blood work, urinanalysis and was found to be healthy. She was given a full dental cleaning, with needed extractions and had some benign growths removed on her body. She is fully vetted and good to go. We seek a home that understands the needs of a sr. dog and with no demands on long walks or excessive playing. She is good company and a loyal companion. She does not have the typical Jack Russel feistyness or prey drive. She watches the ducks go by but will not chase them. We can provide all her labs and medical exam notes. Given her current health, she's got some good years left to make someone happy.
