Please contact https://www.coonhoundrescue.com/CHIEF24.html for more information or to adopt.Hi everyone, I am the cheerful Chief and here's some information about me:Age: 2Breed: CoonhoundWeight: 65 lbsHeight: 26 inches (ground to shoulder)Male (neutered)Don't be fooled by my serious coonhound face, I am a playful, sweet boy who is determined, smart and dare I say, an inquisitive ponderer! I love walks and walk well on leash, but sometimes I can get a bit carried away when I latch on to new scent or if there's a squirrel around. Regardless, I am always friendly with other people and dogs on my walks. Sounds and movement, even the local skateboarders don't phase me. I love to give my humans affection and can sometimes get a bit goofy too.Dogs are great friends too and given the opportunity I would just love to play with any and all of them, but I still need to learn to read doggy social cues a bit better. Sometimes they don't feel as enthusiastic as I do. Some patience and practice will help me learn te proper dog ettiquette.Did I mention that I love food? You can get me to do anything of food is involved; it's a great motivator for me. I would do well in a home without small children and may need to be properly introduced in a home with other dogs.Energy Level: Between moderate to high - very playful but settles down well after exerciseI get along with:Dogs: Yes - super friendly but need help to pick up on cues from other dogs once they've had enoughCats: NoKids: Not young children Fears: None observedLeash skills: Great on leash, non-reactive - a pleasure to walkHouse trained: YesHealth notes: NoneTHIS IS A COURTESY POST.
