About this Cat
Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web: https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/ Ginny was taken into the care of the Animal Rescue Network following the death of her owner, a long-time shelter volunteer. She arrived in foster care with her sister Sacha on April 17, 2024. Slowly but surely, Ginny has become accustomed to her new environment, but she remains a shy, gentle cat who doesn't particularly enjoy the company of the young cat in the house, who would very much like to play with her. Ginny spends most of her days in a box that has been transformed into a cosy nest and occasionally goes out to sunbathe on her favorite scratching post. She also sometimes comes and begs to be petted on the head, and leaves if you try to pick her up. Every day around dinner and supper time, she comes to remind us that it's treat time. Midday, she loves to chase treats (Temptations, Greenies, etc.) and at supper she gets a little a small ration of Creamy. She also loves peanut butter! Since her arrival in her foster family, Ginny doesn't seek out Sacha's presence, which gives us the impression that she could be adopted on her own, and would probably thrive best in an environment where she's the only feline in the household. Ginny is a senior cat, therefore the adoption fees for her are $175. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation during the first month following the adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ). Adopt Ginny and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ginny's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Ginny's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Ginny, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ginny's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ginny was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ginny’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Ginny’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ginny’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
