About this Dog
Kiwi can be a fruit or a bird and now the name belongs to a beautiful pup on her way to Connecticut to find a forever home. Cream colored Kiwi and her gorgeous sibling Cabbage are 4-month-old mixed breed Huskies. They are on their way to find their forever homes and families.Kiwi has a typical Husky coat, smooth and thick so she can romp around and roll in the snow once winter descends on New England. Kiwi is a shy girl and will need time to adjust to new environments but will also seek comfort and security in her crate. She has plenty of growing to do and it is estimated she will be a medium sized dog (31-60 pounds) when she is done growing. She is currently 20 pounds. Dogs and children are great companions for Kiwi. Whether she is comfortable with cats is not known currently.Kiwi is working on her house, leash, and crate training. Puppies need plenty of positive reinforcement and a regular schedule of lessons to be successful with house training. If crate training is planned, Kiwi requires a crate that will grow with her and be big enough for her to stand and turn around in as well as lie down comfortably. Crates should be cozy, happy places for dogs to hang out. Kiwi is traveling a long way from her days as a stray and is eager to make new friends, have new adventures and become the beautiful girl that everybody stops to marvel over. If you have the time and patience to train and teach this adorable pup, bring her home, take plenty of photos as she grows, and be rewarded with loads of love from Kiwi. The adoption fee for Kiwi is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To help speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.

Adopt Kiwi and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kiwi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Kiwi's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Kiwi, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kiwi's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kiwi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kiwi’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Kiwi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kiwi’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
