About this Dog
Hi there! My name is Mocha, I am a sweet young gal with 3 legs who is looking for her forever! Name: Mocha Nicknames: Ms. Mocha, Mocha girl, Ms. Tippy Tappy Age: 11 months Activity level: High energy. I'm a big puppy with big puppy energy. But I also love a good snuggle and snooze after my mind and body are tired. Things I do in my free time: I'm a chewer and a fetch girl! I love for you to throw the ball for me and play fetch as long as I have the energy for it. I love bones and chew toys for inside, and sticks for outside since my humans wont let me bring those inside. I'm great at laying on my bed and occupying myself with a chew toy or bone while my humans are busy doing something. Things I know: My name, sit, and "kennel" Things I'm currently working on: Walking nicely on a leash, and not barking at people or other dogs while I'm in my yard. I'm just so excited and want to meet everyone! My foster humans say I've been a fast learner and will do well with someone who is dedicated to training. Who I currently live with: Two adult humans, two cats and a dog How I do with kids: Although I don't live with any kids, the ones I've met on walks I really love! How I do with dogs: Everyone is my friend! I love my foster dog brother and have gotten along great with other dogs I've met outside my home. How I do with cats: I want to be friends with my two foster cat brothers, but they don't seem to want to be friends with me. But that's okay! I give them their space. My current size: 50lbs, but I'm still young, so I may get a little bigger. How I do in my kennel: My foster humans call me a kennel queen! I love my kennel! It's my safe space, and I'll often go in there just to lay down and hang out. I'll sleep in there overnight without a peep, and when my foster humans are at work. How I do in car rides: I haven't been on too many, but the ones I have been on have been okay. I can get a little antsy if they get too long. But the more I'm exposed to them, my foster humans think I'd do great. Am I house trained: 99% yes. Sometimes I like to drink a gallon of water after walks and then forget I have to go potty shortly after. But when kept on a routine, I am great at doing my business outside. Additional info from foster: Wow, where to begin with this gal. She is absolutely amazing. We started fostering her the day after her amputation, and her recovery has been nothing short of amazing and rewarding to be a part of. Don't let the three legs fool you. This gal is up for anything! She's an amazing listener, super fun to play with, loves other dogs and all people, is not cat reactive...the whole package! She certainly still does have her mischievous puppy side, but with time and training, we know that phase will pass. Anyone would be so lucky to bring Mocha home.
