About this Cat
dob 4/30/24 Smoke and siblings were born under a house and were feral when they were found and brought to their TC Paw foster home in late spring. His foster family has worked tirelessly with Smoke, and they report that he has made a TON of progress. He now walks around the house with his tail up and proud. He's gone from from hissing and hiding to greeting his foster mom at the door when she comes home or calls him. He's a smart little guy, the leader of his litter, who has shown the others that she's okay. He loves to play and enjoys all his toys. You can approach and pet him if you do it slowly. He will run if you try to pick him up unless he knows it's for food. Let him see that you have Churu treats in your hand, and he'll let you pick him up and hold him while he eats. Smoke's new owners will need to help him get fully acclimated to his new home. His foster mom says to block hiding places, like under and behind furniture. When he's hungry is the perfect time to work with him. Feeding time is "working time" for him to learn that being close to you means food. Pet him, kiss him on the head, gently stroke his belly, lift him slightly off the floor with both hands for a few seconds, and then let him eat again. While he’s lifted, move him around the food bowl six inches at a time. All these things will help. She has more advice she's happy to share with anyone interested in Smoke. Scooby is one of Smoke’s siblings. Check his page too. Their foster family welcomes home visits to meet the kittens.

Adopt Smoke and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Smoke's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Smoke's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Smoke, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Smoke's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Smoke was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Smoke’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."

Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Smoke’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Smoke’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
