About this Cat
NAME: Ernie BREED: DSH BIRTHDAY: April 2024 ADOPTION FEE: $120 Bert and Ernie were found by two teenage boys near a busy intersection. They were scared, but friendly enough to be caught and brought to us. These boys, along with a third who one of the teens was allowed to take home, were obviously recently dumped: they had some fleas but were otherwise clean, healthy, and just a little thin. They've certainly been around people before, as they were happy to be indoors getting belly rubs and being cuddled. At the vet they were model patients, allowing all handling and vaccinations. They were very popular with the staff thanks to their general cuteness and fantastic attitudes. In foster care, they are very curious about the cats outside their room but they do seem nervous about the dogs (no surprise as this is a big noisy pack). Bert and Ernie are fully vetted but will need booster vaccines and followup dewormer, both of which will be sent home with them. These boys love each other very much and MUST go home together. They are wonderful and sweet, and they've been through so much in their short lives. Please consider giving them the forever home they deserve!

Adopt Ernie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ernie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Ernie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Ernie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ernie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ernie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ernie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Ernie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ernie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
