About this Dog
Hi, I’m Libby, a 3-year-old Cavalier, weighing in at 18 pounds of sweetness! I’m a quiet, shy girl, but once I warm up, I love to explore and be with my people and doggy friends. Whether it's investigating every room in the house or exploring the backyard, I’m always curious and on the move. I love cuddling up near you on the couch or bed and rolling over for belly rubs. Chin scratches and ear pets are my favorite! I enjoy running around the yard with my dog friends and snacking on freeze-dried beef liver, fruits, and veggies. While I haven’t started playing with toys yet, I love Kongs, bones, and lick mats. I watch my foster sibling fetch, so maybe one day I’ll join in! I’m doing great with potty training and just need a few scheduled trips outside. I sleep quietly in my crate at night, though I’d much prefer to snuggle up with my people in bed. When it’s time to crate up, just say “crate,” and I’ll walk right in! We are working hard on leash training, so if you promise to keep practicing, I don't need a fenced yard in my forever hone. I have started to really love my daily walks! Loud noises sometimes spook me, especially on walks, but with gentle reassurances, I’ll keep going. I do great with kind, respectful kids and would love to live with another dog to help me build confidence and have a playmate. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, and snuggly companion, I’m your girl. I’d love to explore the outdoors with my forever family and be your new best friend! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***

Adopt Libby and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Libby's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Libby's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Libby, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Libby's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Libby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Libby’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Libby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Libby’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
