About this Dog
This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. 12 yrs. 31 lbs. Sweet girl whose owner passed away. Looking for a home with fenced yard since she's not used to being walked on a leash. Loves cuddle time. Once she gets to know you she will be right by your side! She would love another calm doggie companion, she really lights up around other dogs! **Montana has intermittent urinary incontinence. She occasionally pees in her bed in her sleep. We are monitoring her and if her condition worsens, she will require medication to control it, to keep her more comfortable. Her full bloodwork and urinalysis were normal. Montana also had significant dental disease when she arrived. Most likely due to lack of care and poor nutrition in her previous home. She had multiple missing teeth and most of her remaining teeth were so diseased. During a much needed dental that we did, those teeth had to be removed. She has oronasal fistulas (holes between her mouth and nose) that were partially repaired. Potential adopters will need to keep up with regular vet visits to make sure her oral needs are met in the future. She may require additional dentals.

Adopt Montana and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Montana's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Montana's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Montana, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Montana's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Montana was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Montana’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Montana’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Montana’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
