About this Dog
Please meet Bear! He is 2 years old, neutered, current on his vaccines, house/crate trained, and is being fostered in Eugene, OR. Bear has a heart full of love and young Boxer energy to spare! This playful pup thrives on adventure and needs plenty of playtime to burn off his abundant energy. He’s great when riding in the car, so he could possibly make a fun sidekick on road trips, if that’s something his forever person/people enjoy. Bear is incredibly loyal, always by his person’s side, and eager to learn new things. He's curious about the world and craves attention from his human companions. His personality is all that of a Boxer! He loves it when new people come over to visit and settles down quickly after a very passionate welcome. Bear is kid friendly! He previously lived with younger children and currently lives with a teen and preteen in his foster home. He loves them! While Bear is crate trained, he’d prefer to sleep in bed with his people. He is respectful of the rules in his foster home in regard to not getting up on the couch, although sometimes he just can’t help himself. As far as dogs go, Bear used to live with an older male dog but there was a lot of tension between them so at this time we are not sure how he’d be with another dog living in his home. For now, we are giving Bear time to truly decompress from his previous stressful living situation, and we hope to test him with other dogs very soon. Cats will likely not be an option for Bear in his forever home as he is quite reactive to them if he sees one walking by. Bear knows some basic commands: sit, down (lay down), stay, out, and go potty. However, he does need some work on obedience training. A big plus for Bear though is that he’s food motivated, so learning new things should be a breeze. In addition, he is very smart and wants to please his people. Walking on leash is a work in progress for Bear and his foster family will be helping him make some improvements. With all of the Boxer energy that Bear has, he uses it for good by being very playful. He loves to run and play hard. A good game of tug of war or a bone to chew on will keep this guy happy for a while. He’ll also play fetch with a ball and will dig way down into the toy basket to find just the right toy to play with. Bear is even quite content rolling around on the floor and playing by himself with a toy. Oh, and he loves to catch water spraying from the hose! Bear has an amazing personality and overall great demeanor. So, if you're looking for a loving and energetic Boxer companion who will bring endless joy to your life, Bear would be a great match for you! Adopt Bear and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bear's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Bear's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Bear, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bear's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bear was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bear’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Bear’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bear’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
