About this Hamster
Grita is our special case here and needs a kind soul to live out her days with! She is fully blind and the world is just a little too big for her ? She was born a pet store hamster and purchase, but quickly returned due to her fear. After spending months in the store, we were finally contacted about her and scooped this furball up! Grita is much calmer and happier in her quiet environment now. She has her own tank with lots of bedding, hideouts, and fun enrichment which she spends the evenings foraging through. Grita would be a great companion for someone who stays up late and would like a little company. While this hammy is hands off, and does not enjoy any handling, she will come pickup treats dropped into her enclosure as soon as the lid closes! Grita would do best in an experienced home ready to respect her boundaries and let her beat to her own drum. She is by no means aggressive and has never bitten us, but she will scream audibly if you disturb her home and struggles greatly with cage cleaning :( Any potential adopters are welcome to apply, and we will work with you to make sure it’s the best fit!

Adopt Grita and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Grita's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Grita's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Grita, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Grita's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Grita was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Grita’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."

We want the Grita’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Grita’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
