About this Rabbit
Meet Acaiberry and Gojiberry! Acai is the black bun, and Goji is grey and white bun. These cute boys were rescued after being dumped in the woods with a bunch of their friends (all named after berries!) After many hours, rescuers were able to catch them and bring them to our loving foster homes to learn to live the house bunny life! Acai and Goji are definitely on the shy side, with Acai being the more cautious of the two. They will need a little time to get to know you, but you'll soon learn that the way to their hearts is through their stomachs! Acai and Goji LOVE food. Food is life! All food is good food, but Oxbow cookies are particularly good food, so we recommend getting lots of those. Just be careful as once they know you're the bringer of food, they'll start to think EVERYTHING is food, including your fingers and toes! For toys, these boys are big fans of hay-based toys and anything they can eat. Did we mention they like food? They also really love having a a sturdy hidey the can climb on top of when they're not napping inside. We recommend something made of wood as cardboard boxes are generally not strong enough to hold these hefty boys. Admittedly, these boys don't have the best litter habits, but we suspect that's because there are several other buns nearby. They would likely do much better in a nice quiet home with someone who is willing to be patient with them as they learn how to be good house buns. These two would love a home together that understands that they aren't super snuggly, but very food motivated to help develop a positive relationship.
