About this Rabbit
Meet Butch and Lester! These big boys are almost 1 year old brothers who we think are Lionheads mixed with a large breed rabbit, such as a New Zealand or American. They came from a not-so-great situation with several other buns where they were kept outdoors in small hutches that were pretty crowded and dirty. As such, they're a bit shy, but they've been learning just how wonderful the house bunny life can be! Butch (gray) and Lester (black) have slowly been learning that people can be nice, and will now accept pets if you get down on their level. They aren't fans of being picked up just like most buns, so it would be best to only do so when necessary. The good news is these boys are very big fans of food, and can be very forgiving if you offer them some tasty treats. They haven't met a treat they don't like, but their favorites seem to be bananas and fresh dandelions! Butch and Lester are cautious explorers who like to have a home base to return to for safety if they get nervous. They love pretty much anything made of cardboard, and are big fans of balls they can toss and willow chew toys. They have excellent litter habits, and haven't shown any major destructive habits, making them some of the nicest roommates you could ever ask for! They would prefer not to reside with children as they find them a little intimidating, but they're absolutely okay hanging out with dogs and cats. Their ideal home would be a calm and quiet place with people who are respectful and willing to take the time to show them just how awesome it is to be a part of the family.
