TIMMY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Timmy and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (Sept. 22nd) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Silver Spring (12020 Cherry Hill Road, Silver Spring, MD 20904)! Name: Timmy Best Guess for Breed: Cattle dog/red heeler mix Best Guess for Age: 7 weeks as of 8/6/24 SEX: male Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!): 4 pounds as of 8/5/24 Gets Along With: Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Check out this video of Timmy: https://youtu.be/TAz7QZRxvwc. Special Adoption Considerations: Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy. Timmy is Looking For: Hiya! I'm Timmy! Me and my littermates, Tammie, Tanya, Tank, Ted, Tinker, Tod and Tommy, have loved our time in the puppy pile, but we are each ready to pack our bags and find our very own forever home! Our mom Tinsel did a great job nursing us but we're ready to be on our own! I'm looking for a home that will let me play with toys and get my puppy zoomies out and give me snuggles in between playtimes. When I'm a little older, I can't wait to explore my new neighborhood on lots of walks, and I'd really like to make a bunch of doggie friends along the way. Oh, and I should probably take a puppy obedience class or two so I can show you how smart I am. What do you say? Do you have room in your heart for me? What My Foster Says About Me: My foster calls me Tim Bit because I'm the munchkin of the litter and have the sweetest cinnamon-sugar face. But don't let that fool you, I've got classic younger brother energy. What's that toy you're playing with? I'll take it! Are you eating? Wanna share? Are you sitting down? Could you cuddle me while you do that? I'm doing well peeing in the right spot and I'm getting used to having a collar and leash on. I respond to my name and am becoming an expert at "sit"—I'm a quick learner and can't wait to work on more commands and learn some fun tricks with my forever family. I love food puzzles and lick mats and I am happy to work for a good meal. I do great snoozing and relaxing in my crate and will happily continue crate training with you. I've been an on-leash puppy since 9/1 and am eagerly exploring the world! I can go up and down a few stairs, am very interested in chewing on plants (they say that's bad? IDK, seems fun to me) and sticks, and have even tried digging in the dirt! I can be a little intimidated by crowded, noisy spots but I'm happy to take it all in if you give me a cuddle and some treats. I have met a bunch of kids and enjoy being pet (even clumsily by the littlest ones) and cooed over, I'm friendly when meeting big doggos on leash, and I'm practicing chilling on porches and coffee shop patios so I can be a social guy. My foster lives in a condo in the city, so I am getting used to lots of noises—people at the door, other dogs barking, construction noises, even helicopters! I take it all in stride, I'm mostly concerned with wrestling my brother and watching the people in my house move around. I am the most "cattle dog" looking pup of my litter, with a striking color pattern and the cutest, most responsive ears. My foster says they'll start receiving satellite signal any day now ... Puppy Vetting Requirements: Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog. Due to this puppy’s young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered. As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than DECEMBER 17, 2024. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A non-refundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be spayed/neutered at one of our low cost partner vets. Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog! TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. Adopt Timmy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Timmy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Timmy's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Timmy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Timmy's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Timmy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Timmy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Timmy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Timmy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
