About this Dog
ARIANA is a SURVIVOR! This adorable little 9 month old 23 pound mixed breed girl won the fight of her life after she contracted the deadly parvo virus and lived. She was so sick we almost lost hope but she battled through and now she's a healthy, happy girl ready for a loving home. Little Ariana is timid but warms up to kindness. She loves other dogs and must go to a home with a friendly, confident dog. Ariana is one of mama Tessa's 4 puppies (siblings are Danica, Pluto and Balto). Tessa looks like a dachshund with long legs. We have no idea what type breed daddy may have been. The pups are Heinz 57 Varieties-type mixed breed dogs. Mama Tessa has an absolutely lovely disposition and the pups all take after their mama. Ariana is already fully grown at 23 lbs., a nice manageable size. If you'd like to meet darling Ariana, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Ariana at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
