About this Cat
A black cat that is very lucky? Sounds like a winner to us! Miranda was discovered in a storm drain during a storm when someone was driving along in Middletown, PA. The poor, malnutritional girl had a noticeable injury to her hind end. Her rescuer approached her with caution, believing that she would be frightful and evasive. However, Miranda proved them wrong! She immediately wanted to strike up a conversation! She even strutted up to them and rubbed against their legs! Assuming she was someone's pet, a search for her owner went underway, but no one came to claim her. Knowing that she had a better life indoors with a loving family, Miranda was taken to LCCR to find her forever family! Now that the gorgeous girl has fully healed from her injury, she's really come into her own! As soon as she was out of surgery and woke up, she decided she deserved a hefty meal! She took to eating as quickly as she spotted food! Miranda has discovered a few things about herself during her stay with the rescue! She's taken to her soft kitty bed for her naps. She's likes to explore new things around her new environment. She has a courageous heart, but she's wary of things that she deems too dangerous. She enjoys her little "walks" around her foster home with her foster parent. The girl is a gossiper if we've ever heard one! She's as chatty as she is beautiful! She may not like to be picked up, but she truly loves attention. She will rub next to you or sit on your lap to show her affection. She isn't too fond of other kitties, so we think she'd be best off as an only cat. However, she might be fine with other kitties as long as they are respectful of her space. Miranda's adoption fee is 75.00 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay. If you would like more information on her please contact Stephanie at [email protected]. If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Please note: LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed.
