About this Dog
Name: Velma Breed: St. Bernard Age: 5 Years Gender: Female Weight: 97lbs Good with cats: Unknown Good with dogs: Yes Good with Children: Over 10 years Fenced Yard Required: Preferred Crate-Trained: Yes House Trained: Yes Location: London, Ontario The name Velma translates to determined protector and this girl is absolutely that. A retired mill mama who came to us with eye infections, ear infections, infested with fleas and walked with her head down basically totally defeated, Velma is now coming out of her shell. She loves her humans and will kiss you endlessly if you let her but beware they are very sloppy kisses. She loves her crate, we believe it is her safe place, but is now joining us more frequently in the great room. She will disappear sometimes to her crate and will be found sleeping or just hanging out in it. She has full run of the house, but sometimes just wants quiet. She loves attention, belly rubs and will snuggle up to you if you sit on the floor with her or occasionally on the sofa. Velma is curious about a lot of things given so much of it is new to her. She likes to be in the kitchen and is an accomplished counter surfer too. She is learning about walking on a leash, but can test you if she sees a squirrel. She can be playful if is suits her and gets along with our dogs and with proper introduction, dogs we meet in our neighborhood. Velma is an absolute sweetheart, and has lots of love to give. She is happy, energetic, determined and just plain loveable. Velma is thoroughly enjoying her second chance for a wonderful life Velma’s adoption fee is $650.00 which includes all vaccines, preventatives to date, microchip, dental and spay. Adopt Velma and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Velma's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Velma's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Velma, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Velma's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Velma was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Velma’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Velma’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Velma’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
