About this Dog
Meet Jack and Jill! Update 7/31/24 from Jack's foster family:"Jack is a sweet natured adorable little puppy. He is looking for love and a warm lap. While Jack is small, he loves big dog activities like going on hikes or long walks. He also loves playing fetch with small squeaky toys. He is crate trained. And he is currently working on potty training. Jack does great with other dogs, although he is a little shy at first. He is currently being fostered with an 80 pound dog and adores her. He would do best in a home with older children or without children since he is so small and can be startled by younger kiddos. This sweet boy would love to find his forever home!" Original Rescue Story:These 2 adorable siblings are the most precious little pups. We believe they are a pug/chiweenie mix and we have no information on the parents so we don't know what breed they truly are. They will be 4 months in August and we expect they will grow to be in the 15-20 pound range when full grown. Both Jack and Jill have an amazing personality, unlikely most small breeds they are not yappy or barky at all which is very surprising. The both had to be separated recently in July into different foster homes and do not need to be adopted together but we can say, if anyone is looking to adopt a dynamic pair of siblings we know they would love to spend the rest of their lifes together as a perfect match! Both are very similar in personality from sweet and funny to playful yet gentle. Jack is currently fostered with a foster who has an XL senior breed dog whom Jack adores to spend time with while Jill is fostered in a foster home with children, dogs and cats. These pups are excellent in car rides, crate trained and just adore dogs and cats. Currently under 7 pounds we don't recommend dog parks and dog beaches as they are too small to safely trust community dogs around small dogs but when they are bigger in size they would adore those activities. Both Jack and Jill have the funniest underbite and curly tails. Jill has an interesting genetic disorder where she is missing a little tow in the back paw but aside from that these healthy pups can't wait to find their way to their forever families! The siblings are available for adoption as soon as 7/25 and can home NOW!However, we are looking for adopters who are local to San Diego as they both have their sterilization scheduled for Monday 8/12/24 in the 92104 zip code and adopters must be available to drop off and pick up at the veterinary clinic the day of their surgeries. Adoption fee of course includes the sterilizations. Medical: I am UTD on all my medical and there is nothing special to mention about me except I am healthy and ready to finish my rescue journey by finding a family of my own. To meet me stop by a scheduled event, if you don't see one on the event calendar at ARWOB.org please, submit a dog adoption or a dog foster application online as the FIRST step to scheduling a meeting for us to meet!

Adopt Jack and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jack's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Jack's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Jack, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jack's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jack was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jack’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Jack’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jack’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
