About this Dog
Hi, I’m Glinda, a 3-year-old Yorkie weighing in at 11 pounds, and I’m a very shy and timid little lady. I’m still learning how to trust the world around me, so I can be a bit fearful and overwhelmed by loud noises or too much commotion. One thing I absolutely love? Eating! Treats, green beans, cheese—you name it, I’m interested. I even eat so quickly that I need a slow feeder to pace myself. When it’s time for meals, I’ll try to sneak a bite from other bowls too, so you’ll have to keep an eye on me! I haven’t quite mastered potty training yet, but with your patience and guidance, I’ll get there. I’m still getting used to wearing a harness and leash—I don’t love it, but I’m not fighting it either. I don’t walk on a leash yet, but I’m learning to drag it around a bit as practice. A securely fenced yard is required for me as I am fearful and a flight risk. I prefer quiet and calm environments, so if you have another dog, I’d love it to be a confident and social male who doesn’t bark too much. Having another dog is very important to help me learn to trust people and get on a routine. I may not be brave enough yet to come to you for pets, but I’ll follow you from room to room because I want to be close. I just need a patient home that understands I’m still working on building my confidence. Once I feel safe and secure, I know I’ll come out of my shell! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***

Adopt Glinda and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Glinda's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Glinda's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Glinda, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Glinda's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Glinda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Glinda’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Glinda’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Glinda’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
