About this Dog
CROCODILLY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Crocodilly Best Guess for Breed: Feist and terrier mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of August 2024 Gender: Male Approximate Weight: 12.6 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested Currently Living At: Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus. Needs a foster or forever home in the DC area after completing heartworm treatment! Check out these videos of Crocodily: https://youtu.be/bBZMVdu13h0 and https://youtu.be/YH9_YdI5Jdo.. Special Adoption Considerations: Crocodilly is heartworm positive, but this Lucky Dog got extra lucky! This pup is part of a groundbreaking study we are conducting at our South Carolina Rescue Campus that has the potential to change the way shelters across the United States treat heartworm positive dogs. All dogs in the study are placed at random in either the 2 shot or 3 shot protocol with strictly monitored protocols in place. Four weeks following their final injection, the pups are eligible to transport to the DC area for placement in foster or adoptive care. After treatment concludes, we work with adopters to arrange a free follow up heartworm test after 6 months, followed by a second test at 9 months. We are happy to discuss this treatment and which phase of the study this Lucky Dog is in right now! Just email the adoption coordinator - the address is at lower left! Crocodilly is Looking For: His forever home! This cutie hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet. He's eager to get his own humans for sniffy walks and romps in parks and all the adventures they dream up. And his size is a huge plus - if he can't scramble over boulders, he can easily be toted over!He also wants to make pup and people pals along the way, quality kibble, and a cushy dog bed. But you know what he wants most of all? To know he's safe and loved and under his own roof. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes and snuggles and loyal companionship. What do you say? Is there a Crocodilly-shaped gap in your lap and your life? What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $475, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and heartworm treatment. Adopt Crocodilly and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Crocodilly's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Crocodilly's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Crocodilly, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Crocodilly's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Crocodilly was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Crocodilly’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Crocodilly’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Crocodilly’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
