Name: Matilda (Mattie) Breed: Border Collie Age: 2 Years Old Gender: Female Weight: 44lbs Good with cats: Unknown Good with dogs: Yes Good with Children: Over 10 years Fenced Yard Required: Yes Crate-Trained: Yes House Trained: Yes Location: London, Ontario Introducing Mattie - a girl ready to find her forever. After being released from working as a mill mama, Mattie is settling into her routine of being a loved family member and living the way a dog should! Mattie is a very friendly girl who has done well with all she’s met. She’s adapted well to other dogs, as well as older children. Mattie is sure to greet you with pure happiness whether it’s been 2 minutes or 2 hours since she saw you last! Since arriving to foster care, Mattie has been working hard on her training. Her first few walks on the leash, she seemed very afraid, but now she does great! Mattie doesn’t pull on the leash, and walks calmly, loving getting to sniff around. Mattie has yet to poop or pee on the leash, which means her forever home is required to have a fenced in yard to ensure she can do her business comfortably. In the house, Mattie is very quiet and doesn’t bark much, she really does make for a good addition around the home! Mattie seems to have realized that she finally gets to live life as a real dog, and she sure seems to be enjoying it! She likes to play fetch with her stuffed lamb chop and also likes to play keep away. Mattie is still working on learning fetch with an actual ball but thinks it’s more fun to make you come to pick it up instead. Overall, Mattie is an energetic girl and would excel in a home with an adventurous family who likes long walks and has plenty of energy for play! Mattie doesn’t seem to have any interest in snuggling but does like to just sit on the couch with you and enjoy your company. During the day, Mattie loves to be in the backyard chasing and barking at her own tail. She has yet to discover it’s attached to her body, but sure makes for some entertaining moments to watch. At night, she prefers to sleep on the couch, or on the rug happily near by. Ultimately, Mattie is a well-adjusted girl learning to love the world. If you are missing a piece to your heart, and your home - Mattie might just be it! Please consider applying to bring Mattie home today. Mattie’s adoption fee is $650.00 which includes all vaccines, preventatives to date, microchip and spay. Adopt Matilda and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Matilda's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Matilda's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Matilda, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Matilda's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Matilda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Matilda’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Matilda’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Matilda’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
