About this Dog
Name: Franklin Breed: Beagle Age: 5 Years Gender: Male Weight: 30lbs Good with cats: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with Children: Yes Fenced Yard Required: Yes Crate-Trained: Yes House Trained: Yes Location: London, Ontario Hello, hoo-(wo)man! My name’s Franklin but my foster mom and dad call me Frankie – when I’m extra cute, they even call me “Awwww, FWankie!!” (who knows what that means but I love the belly rubs that come with that! More on that in a bit). I’m a 5-year old Beagle with a penchant for food, belly rubs, belly rubs, more belly rubs, and walks in the neighborhood in that order. My sad eyes, long ears, and go-with-the flow demeanor make me quite the catch, or so they say. I’m up to date on all my shots and fixed, and am SO ready to be loved by a Forever Family. At my foster home, it seems everyone just wants to give me belly rubs and cuddle with me. I was fine with the belly rubs (notice a trend here!?), but it’s taken me a few weeks to get used to them lovin’ on me. Now that I’m comfy with them all, it’s Open Season for Cuddles! I am great with small kids and other small dogs, but big dogs do give me the heebie-jeebies. I used to be very scared of the vacuum cleaner and the kitchen blender, but mom and dad have been getting me more accustomed to it. I love having guests over – I go over to meet strangers with no hesitation. I used to sleep in my crate, but more recently, I REALLY LOVE getting under the covers with mom and dad, usually lying at their feet to keep their tootsies toasty! I do not have accidents in the house, although, when I first arrived at my foster home, I did try to mark my territory. A single day was all it took, though, for me to give that up. I thoroughly enjoy the chicken and rice that mom cooks for me, but could go back to kibble in a crunch (see what I did? “Kibble” and “crunch”-pretty awesome, huh?!). So as you can probably, tell, I’m chill – my foster sis says I “be chillin’ like a villain!” My days are spent relaxing, going out to the park, getting up on my hind legs to scour the kitchen island for food (why mom and dad don’t like that, I’ll never understand), and being pampered by my foster family. Beef liver and chicken treats from Costco are my favorite go-tos, but I ain’t fussy - the buffet table is an Equal Opportunity zone as far as I’m concerned! Mom and dad say I’m mellow – yet again, no idea what that means, but it seems to work for them! So what say, Frankie Fan Club member? Are you ready to give me the love I need? I am loyal, friendly, and ever-willing to offer you my belly for a rub – let’s make this happen! Adopt Franklin and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Franklin's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Franklin's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Franklin, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Franklin's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Franklin was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Franklin’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Franklin’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Franklin’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
