About this Horse
Rolo was surrendered to Longmeadow in the beginning of 2024. After his arrival and upon his evaluation, we noticed discomfort while he was being ridden. A vet examined him and found signs of arthritis and navicular. Due to these findings, we have deemed Rolo a pasture companion. He could also be adopted by someone looking for a leadline horse. Rolo is a beautiful gelding with a nice personality. He LOVES spa days and enjoys being groomed. He will stand there quietly and look at you with his big, brown eyes. His striking dun coat and big head catches the attention of many. He would make a beautiful lawn ornament and would love to join your herd at home. Rolo tends to be towards the top of the pecking order but gets along well with both mares and geldings. He has good ground manners, but at times may try and pull away from his handler when he gets nervous. We believe he would do best with an intermediate handler, or a beginner who is willing to learn how to handle him! Adoption Fee: $500Height: 16.1hhMaximum Carrying Weight (includes tack and rider): 100lbs

Adopt ROLO and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, ROLO's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is ROLO's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the ROLO, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming ROLO's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ROLO was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ROLO’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the ROLO’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ROLO’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
