About this Dog
Bullet (TX) is a male Labrador mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Bullet is 5 months old at the time of intake in July 2022. Bullet is good with people of all ages and other dogs and cats. Bullet was surrendered by his owners, the people who were supposed to take care of him. He has an old injury affecting his back legs. We are taking good care of Bullet and got him the medical attention he needed. He is in foster care and ready to find his forever home. His foster says that he is one of the most well behaved dogs they have ever fostered or adopted. He is pure love and just wants to be where his people are. He’s excellent with all other dogs and wants to cuddle them and play with them all of the time. He is wonderful with their twin toddlers (both three years old). Bullet loves to cuddle, he will seek out attention and hop up on the couch to snuggle. He's smart and knows some commands like sit and shake. His back legs don’t work the greatest. However, Bullet really has adapted and runs / keeps up with his foster's dogs with little to no problem. He can use the stairs and even get up on the couch. He would do great with a canine sibling to run around with, he's fast given his injuries. However he is also very easy to walk on a leash, even their 3 year old can walk him. He's so sweet even after everything he's endured and deserves the world. If you would like give Bullet the life he deserves, please apply online to adopt Bullet (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org . RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
