About this Dog
Location: Pittsburgh, PA. Please meet Esme! What this little nugget lacks in a tail (she has a cute bob-tail) she makes up for in full body wiggles when she’s happy. She is about 8 months old, 35#, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and on flea and heartworm preventative medications. Esme came into the rescue with a severe skin infection which has been successfully treated. She may never fully regrow all of her fur on her belly or chest so only time will tell but her coat is coming in beautifully. While her treatments are completed, she will benefit from regular baths to keep her skin healthy. She is very good for baths, on leash, and with other animals. She is quite playful and would love to have another playful friendly dog in the house. Esme ignores the cat and chickens. She walks easily on leash and is non reactive to other dogs, bikes, and car. Esme seems to be housebroken (though an accident can never be ruled out!) and crates for meals and when alone. She sleeps on a dog bed in our bedroom. Though we do not have much information about her background, she is still learning all the sounds and activities of a house and so would need a family patient as she becomes familiar with your home. Esme is very sweet tempered but is a cattle dog so does like to nip a bit at feet when excited and jump. She, like all dogs, would benefit from basic obedience training to keep her safe and to bond with her new family. Esme would do best in a home with older (10y+) kids, another playful doggie friend, and an active lifestyle that includes her in activities. Esme is sensitive to raised voices so a home with even tempered folks is a must. She is being fostered near Pittsburgh, PA. If you have any questions about Esme not covered in her bio, please email [email protected] with “Esme” in the subject line. Adopt Esme and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Esme's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Esme's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Esme, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Esme's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Esme was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Esme’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Esme’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Esme’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
