About this Dog
Meet Grixly! He’s a diluted grey mini version of a Labrador Retriever! Grix came from an unfortunately terrible situation that has now led him into foster care. He had been starved and ignored his whole life. He came from a home with 40+ other dogs, not enough food to go around and not enough human attention either. Even though he had a terrible start, he’s very sweet!! He’s slowly coming out of his shell and learning to be a dog. He has not one mean bone in his body, just unsure of the new world he’s now living in. He’s very submissive and shy however he’s really become a completely different dog in the short few weeks he’s been in foster care. He’s learning leash training, potty training and general commands. He has never been taught anything prior. Potty training is going very well, he’s catching on and with a good routine he should have it mastered in no time. Leash training, this one is a struggle so he would need some patience with it. His foster will continue to improve his trust with a leash until adopted. The hope for Grixly here in foster care is to learn about his behaviors and fears, work with him on those things so he can be successful in a new home. He truly is the sweetest pup, he just needs patience, understanding and some TLC. Currently in foster care he shares a home with 2 cats and 6 other dogs! Grixly is neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives. CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and an additional $150 spay/ neuter deposit where applicable. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped. All payments are by credit card. Adopters schedule their own surgeries directly with any vet of their choosing with a surgery cost reimbursement of up to $75 (plus refund of the $150 deposit) when proof of surgery is received by CARE. Surgery is required to be done within 6 months of adoption (unless they have a vet recommending otherwise). All adoptions take place atSpecks Pet Supplies 3860 W Carlos Folger Dr, Columbus, IN 47201

Adopt Grixly and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Grixly's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Grixly's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Grixly, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Grixly's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Grixly was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Grixly’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Grixly’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Grixly’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
