About this Dog
Cher is one of a bonded pair of Yorkies and will have to be adopted with Sonny. She is 4 years old and weighs 11 lbs.The adoption fee for BOTH DOGS is $800.00 total. This sweet girl was surrendered by her loving owner along with her brother when the family could no longer keep them. She has been here for almost two months and she is incredibly affectionate and protective of her people and the house. Her ideal situation is sitting in a lap or snuggling up next to you while also being close to her brother, Sonny. When Cher gets excited she will grab a stuffed animal and bring it to you to play fetch. She loves getting belly rubs and will dramatically flop herself across your lap when it is belly time. She is well-behaved and mostly potty-trained, using a pee pad if need be, but we are having success in getting her to go outside more often. Her challenge seems to be that when we are outside her M.O. remains all belly rubs all the time, and she just wants to play with you instead of doing her business. She sleeps through the night, shares well with Sonny, and will happily cuddle up next to your legs when it's bedtime. Cher is a great guard dog, and no mailmen will sneak up on your house without her letting you know. She's sometimes easily startled and looks to her brother for support. We're working on getting her used to visitors; unsurprisingly, bribery seems to work. If a new person gives her treats, it is just a matter of time before she is in their lap, demanding attention. She does well on a leash, enjoys walks at a brisk pace, and is friendly with the other dogs we've encountered, but she can get nervous if there are too many people. She's got lots of energy for playing outside or in the house with her brother! Cher is ready to find a forever home for her and Sonny. They will thrive in a home where they are the only pets and have their humans around them as much as possible. Cher and Sonny are staying with Jenna in Buffalo, NY.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the A Cher, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming A Cher's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and A Cher was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, A Cher’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, A Cher’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
