About this Dog
Oz is a brilliant, sweet girl who would love nothing more than to be your hiking buddy. She may have come to the shelter as a stray but she is a very social dog. Really, she should have been named Ariel because she wants to âbe where the people are.â This sweet girl loves to give kisses and will curl up against humans on the couch or the bed for snuggles and belly rubs. Thereâs nothing quite like the love she is ready to give to her forever family!A very smart girl, Oz solves doggy puzzles with ease and seems infinitely trainable. She already knows sit, shake, lie down, and the basics of stay. Currently, she is working on crate training. She is VERY treat motivated. A treat can be anything from a tennis ball or a carrot to a single piece of her regular kibble. Oz is great on a leash but prefers peeing and pooping leash-free in the backyard. Meeting other dogs on walks, she is always interested but never reactive. Itâs clear that she would love to make friends, she tries all her most charming play tactics, (from playpose, snoofing, barking, bringing them her favorite tennis ball, to sharing her bone with them) but the cats aren't having it, and we think she would do great with a doggo-buddy to play with. She may be two years old, but Oz still has Big Puppy Energy. She enjoys physical play, including gently mouthing toys and people. Her mouth play is never sharp or hard, just lots of playful slobber, but her playful enthusiasm is probably not a good fit with small children. Currently she is very nervous around men but a little bit of patience and a lot of treats will go a long way to fix that - when grandpa came to visit he was able to bribe her into friendship with whip cream in one evening!

Adopt OZ and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, OZ's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is OZ's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the OZ, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming OZ's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and OZ was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, OZ’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."

We want the OZ’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, OZ’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
