About this Cat
Hi, I'm Barouche, a female, short-haired Tortoiseshell with an estimated DOB of 4/21/2016. I am a quiet mama who has had many litters of kittens, some of whom are grown and with me still. I arrived at Wild Blue from a house full of cats where I didn't get much human contact, but I have learned to trust humans more and more each day. I am not as affected by their noise and fast movements as I was before, but when my environment gets too active, I feel more secure in a cubby. Once my environment is calm, I am back out to enjoy gentle pets and closeness. I have learned to appreciate their gentle touch, as I understand this is a special time with my human, and a tasty treat during our visit is the perfect encouragement to help me relax. I love wet food. I am used to having other kitties lay on me as we comfort each other, but as a mature lady I am showing more insistence on a little space around me and some independence. Some of that reservation could be due to some hip discomfort I'm experiencing, so my vet prescribed a monthly medicine called Solensia to help get me moving around more and it has helped. I also had a dental and my recovery went well. I would prefer a home where I can get a little peace and quiet, mixed in with my individual human time, as I have grown to enjoy the attention. I am looking forward to building a strong bond with my person and the comforts of a home of my own. I will flourish with a loving and patient adult who will help me feel safe and bring forth my sweet personality. Starting me out in a small space and gradually expand my living area will allow me to explore at my own pace. Adopt Barouche and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Barouche's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Barouche's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Barouche, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Barouche's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Barouche was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Barouche’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Barouche’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Barouche’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
