About this Dog
BIG PUPPY NEEDS YOUR TIME, YOUR ATTENTION AND YOUR TALENT. BARLEY is 1 1/2 years old. He is definitely a work in progress as most puppies are. *We received a lot of information about him including he has accidents in the house, tears household items up, chases skateboarders, bikers, outside critters, and has escaped his own yard. We were told he shows signs of guarding items including food, chew objects and regular toys. We were told he is not dog social. *Barley is also said to be crate trained, where he sleeps at night, that he can be very relaxed, that he enjoys attention and petting, and that he loves car rides. *This is a lot to hear, we know, but we also know there is a family out there who does have the time, the ability to manage him and the desire to help guide Barley through as he learns what he needs to become a well balanced and well behaved adult dog. *I had a great time with Barley. He ran around the yard with me, gave me great smiles and poses to share and seemed to be a friendly and happy boy. *There is a way to manage behaviors and we can help you as well. *If you are interested in meeting BARLEY, please come to the VBACAC and meet him! He is currently in a back kennel so if you don't see him, please just ask.
