About this Dog
Please contact foster at [email protected] in the shelter, 1-year-old Dot is learning to open up and be a dog again. She loves human companionship and would absolutely thrive with a confident, playful dog sibling by her side. All she wants is a patient, calm family to give her the reassurance and comfort she needs. She might initially be hesitant of new people, but with a handful of treats, everyone can be her friend.Desperately wanting to please you, she takes correction very well, backs off if you tell her âno,â and recalls when you call her name. When sheâs excited, sheâll bounce around the house, and her legs canât seem to catch up with her body. She loves napping right beside you and being close, snuggling up on the couch. Sheâs shown positive body language with all the dogs sheâs met, and she absolutely adores her foster brother. She plays very well with him, initiating play, taking breaks, and reversing roles in a balanced way. When she met with our dog trainer, the trainer also agreed that she was very polite and not too pushy during playtime. Having another dog around really helps her gain confidence. She did meet a neighborâs cat outside and was very fixated on it, so she might not do well with cats.Dot is completely housetrained, and sheâs working on her crate training and basic commands, learning âsit,â âstay,â and âbedâ very quickly. She does go in her crate where she sleeps solidly throughout the night. She sits in the car without moving or needing to be restrained although you might have to help her get in. Additionally, I have not seen any resource-guarding tendencies with either toys or food; you can take a toy right out of her mouth without any problem.â¢Sweet, shy, submissive, curiousâ¢Medium energyâ¢House-trainedâ¢Dog-friendly, would thrive with a confident and playful dog siblingâ¢Takes correction wellâ¢Mostly crate trained â¢Knows basic commands and working on moreâ¢Looking for a calm, reassuring family to help with confidence

Adopt DOT and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, DOT's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is DOT's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the DOT, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming DOT's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and DOT was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, DOT’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the DOT’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, DOT’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
