About this Dog
Hi! My name is Leonora! I am a beautiful 8 year old smaller brindle girl that is looking for my forever home! I am most recognized by my key features of my tongue (almost always sticking out) and adorable ears! I am a medium energy girl that loves being around my human! I am gentle when taking treats from humans and loves giving kisses on any exposed skin (ex: feet, ankles, etc). I do have some arthritis in my hip that makes me walk with a limp but that does not stop me from occasionally getting the zoomies or enjoying going for walks! During my walks, I love taking in the smells of the world and will pull when I see cats or small animals. It is suspected that in my previous life I was used to sleeping in a human bed or couch because that’s where I like to sleep and was upset the first couple of nights when I couldn’t sleep there with my foster mom. I will sleep on the dog bed with the resident dog too! I am able to be trusted and left to free roam the house during the day and night without any issues! If I absolutely must, I will go into the crate but I prefer to be out of it. I am house trained and am good about letting the humans know that I need to go out. I met my foster mom’s 2 year old niece and did really well with her, so having small humans in my forever home will not be an issue for me! I live with a 12 year old resident male boxer and although he isn’t in the ‘playful stage’, I still try! My foster mom believes I may be selective with other dogs so a proper meet and greet is recommended. I love chasing lizards in the yard, waking up early to make the most of my day, and being with the humans! If you are looking for a well mannered, interactive girl, here I am! Contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!If you're interested in fostering a dog, please fill out the Foster Application http://austinboxerrescue.com/rehoming/adoption/foster/ If you're interested in adopting a dog, please fill out the Adoption Application http://austinboxerrescue.com/adoption-application/Our volunteers will work with you to find the best dog for your home.

Adopt Leonora and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Leonora's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Leonora's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Leonora, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Leonora's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Leonora was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Leonora’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Leonora’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Leonora’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
