Meet Cement, a loving and sweet companion who is ready to find his forever home! Cement is a joy to walk, always staying well-mannered and easy on the leash. I’m walking him while writing this ...lol! He knows how to sit, shake and always takes his treats very gently. His gentle nature makes him a perfect fit for families with children of any age, and he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. However, due to his higher prey drive, it's best that Cement goes to a home without cats. He working hard on house training and making good progress. He isn’t a super fan on his kennel so some CBD treats help, but we have discovered he needs another dog in the home. It settles him. Without a dog he seems to have some anxiety but with one or more he is much more relaxed. He truly just loves being a part of your everyday life he enjoys any and all types of love and is truly the sweetest boy. We’ve got some exciting news about this pup’s age! Thanks to DNA testing from Embark, we’ve got a fresh take on how old they really are. A big shoutout to Embark for generously donating these tests for us to explore! You might spot a difference between Embark's findings and our original guess—after all, no test or person is 100% accurate. It’s all part of the adventure! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adopt Cement and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cement's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cement was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cement’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Cement’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cement’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
