About this Dog
Meet Mona. Mona is a very special girl, looking for a very special home that will accept her for her quirks. Sweet Mona was abandoned at a high kill shelter, after she suffered severe trauma to the head, resulting in brain damage; this doesn't damper Mona's mood though! Mona is still the sweetest, most affectionate little dog you'll ever meet! Mona tries her best to be potty trained and crate trained, but she is still working on mastering these skills. Mona is a saint, and gets along well with dogs of all sizes, cats and kittens, and even barnyard animals too! The only real time you can tell that Mona has had brain trauma, is when she's been standing and/or walking for a while, she will often start to spin in circles; she can be quickly brought out of her spins by simply talking to her and/or petting her to get her attention. If you aren't deterred by a little peculiarity, apply to meet sweet Mona today! Apply to adopt by clicking on the link below http://www.wagsandwhiskerspetrescue.com/adopt.html Thank you so much for looking into wags and whiskers for your next family member. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt. If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment. 530-895-8888 If you are interested in meeting this pet please apply to adopt at http://www.wagsandwhiskerspetrescue.com/adopt.html if the pet is still available for adoption and you are approved to adopt we will contact you to set up a meet and greet appointment.

Adopt Mona and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mona's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Mona's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Mona, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mona's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mona was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mona’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Mona’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mona’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
