About this Cat
Mary and Winifred are a bonded pair of sisters. These tiny kitties have had a rough start to life. When first being rescued they were in pretty poor condition. Malnourished and dehydrated, we learned that where they were rescued there was only a small amount of food being provided and because Mary & Winnie are so small they were constantly being pushed out by all the other cats and barely getting any food. When taking them to the vet we estimated them to be approximately 3 months old based on their size however it turned out that they were actually closer to 7 months old (they are now just a year old and still look like babies!). So if you’re looking for a forever kitten (in size) these girls are for you as they will remain very petite kitties! Winifred also has some scarring on one of her eyes due to an old injury or infection. These two are very close and rely on each other for confidence, cuddles and thoroughly enjoy playing with each other and kitty toys. Both are shy kitties and will take an extended amount of time to bond to new people and to adjust to a new home. Once they bond to you, you will be rewarded with much affection and lap cuddles! Both of them are not fond of being picked up but that’s ok, lots of cats don’t like being held and in exchange these two are very content to come ask you for affection and keep your lap warm. They enjoy getting their ears scratched as well as long pets! Each evening Mary especially loves sitting on her foster mom’s lap getting lots and lots of pets and will spend a good part of the evening watching TV with her. Winifred might come close, but is still a bit leary of lap sitting. It may come in time if you allow her to gain her confidence with you and her new home. They are quite polite and well behaved. Easy-going kitties! The bonus of having them together is they don’t need constant attention, but definitely like being nearby when you’re around. These sisters have not yet been introduced to dogs while in our care. They may adjust to a calm dog who has already lived with cats and gives them their space with no chasing. We believe these adorable, petite cats would be best matched to an adult only home where there are no children being active throughout the house. A calm household where they can relax on the couch or in your lap is best matched for them. NOTE: We have some additional information to share. If you are interested in meeting these girls or learning more about them please email us! [email protected] If you would like to meet this kitty please fill out an online adoption application by clicking here or going to our website at www.catsupport.net. Adopt Mary and Winifred and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mary and Winifred's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Mary and Winifred's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Mary and Winifred, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mary and Winifred's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mary and Winifred was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mary and Winifred’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
