About this Dog
Flynn Ryder is a remarkable one-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback who has overcome incredible challenges with grace and resilience. Despite losing his hind right leg to cancer at a young age, Ryder has not let this setback define him. His outgoing personality, intelligence, and overwhelming friendliness make him a joy to be around. Ryder's love knows no bounds, as he adores all animals and is quick to shower people with kisses. After a day full of adventures and play, Ryder's favorite thing to do is snuggle up with his loved ones. Don't be fooled by his three legs - Ryder is still incredibly fast and agile, proving that nothing can slow him down. He is crate trained and has mastered basic obedience, showcasing his determination and eagerness to learn. Ryder is now seeking his forever home, where he can continue to bring joy, love, and inspiration to those lucky enough to have him in their lives. Get ready to welcome this extraordinary dog into your heart and home!Ryder aka Ryder was diagnosed with bone cancer which resulted in a rear leg amputation at 12 weeks old. He is currently showing no signs of cancer but it may likely return at some point later in his life. The loss of his leg has never slowed him down, he has always been the happiest and sweetest of boys and can run just as fast, if not faster than the other dogs in his foster home. Ryder's foster describes him as the most affectionate and loyal companion she has ever met. He greets everyone with the sloppiest of kisses and is always wagging his tail. His ideal home would be an only pet home or a house that has another dog that likes to play. He does well on a leash and is almost completely potty trained and is crate trained. Ryder loves to go for car rides and to just be included. He just turned one back in april and had all his friends over for a big playdate and to share some doggy cake!
