About this Cat
Harlow is so adorable with her coat of many colors and wrapped up with long hair too! She must know she is so beautiful as she can be a bit of a diva. She has been a very shy girl but has really come out of her shell in the time her foster mom has had her. Because she is so shy she really needs a mentor cat in the home or another one of her foster buddies to pal around with. Due to this shyness, she can not be adopted as a lone kitten. She used to run away but now waits for her mom to pick her up for snuggles. Then you can hear the purr purr start. It will still take her a bit of time to get used to a new person and place, but it will be worth it after you see how playful and sweet she is. She has not been raised with children and most likely will not do well with them. We suggest older children that are quiet and reserved. She and her siblings were found living in a rock wall where the mom cat stashed them to keep them safe from predators. They were quite scared of people. Harlow loves to tussle with her sister Heidi and the other foster kittens in the home and hopes that one of them can be adopted with her. Or at least there has to be another nurturing kitty that will play with her and help her navigate a new home and people. She is fine with brushing and clipping her claws. Canned food is a good bribe for friendship and trust. She is a good girl with the litterbox..
