About this Cat
Haley was living outside a Golden Corral restaurant in South County STL. Poor thing was freezing cold and looking for warmth anywhere she could find. We knew we had to help her so a good friend of ours who does TNR caught her and brought her home until we could make space. Turns out, Haley was a colony cat that had been TNR'd a year prior but her colony was miles away from where she was found. How she ended up there, we will never know.Haley had a pretty severe tail injury that was infected, so it had to be amputated and now she has a little bob tail. She's very sweet, but cautious and shy at first. Who can blame her... I'm sure she had to be that way to survive on the streets. Haley needs a quiet home where she can feel safe and loved. Someone who understands cats and is willing to give her the time and space she needs to acclimate and build trust. Once she gets to know you, she's quite affectionate and friendly but does startle easily and will hide if she feels overwhelmed. She enjoys head and ear scratches, and will bump her head against your hand when she's really happy. She's come a long way since being rescued and is learning that humans can be nice and receiving affection is a good thing. She's not fond of being pet near her rear end because of her injury, and does not like to be held. She loves canned food and treats and will come running when she hears it. Haley is okay with other cats as long as they respect her space and aren't too bossy or dominant. Not sure about dogs but no children please.

Adopt Haley and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Haley's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Haley's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Haley, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Haley's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Haley was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Haley’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Haley’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Haley’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
