About this Dog
Animal Profile: Sahara is an estimated 3 year old 45 lb female pitbull terrier mix who will be joining us along with her 4 babies from San Joaquin California. These dogs have been held in outdoor kennels at a Waste Treatment Facility in San Joaquin Valley. Temperatures are now over 100 degrees and these dogs sit and wait for help to arrive. This “shelter” has no website, no adoptions, and no resources. We were asked to help so they will be joining us on June 16th. We will share more info as we get to know them in foster care. Foster Update: Hi, my name is Sahara . I am a white and fawn bully mix. I was rescued from the desert where I had just given birth to some beautiful babies. Now that they are on their way to finding their own homes and mommy duty is done, it is time for me to live my best life. My current favorite things are walking, food and snuggles. I am very smart, affectionate and have a huge personality. My foster mom says I learn quickly, especially when there is food involved. I know “leave it,””sit,” “no,” “get down,” “slowly (for going up and down stairs)” and “crate.” I am an excellent crate sleeper at night but prefer a midday walk during the longer work days. I love to go on sniffaris and observer the world around me; I am gaining confidence around loud and startling noises but sometimes things can be a little scary. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Adopt Sahara and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sahara's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Sahara's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Sahara, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sahara's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sahara was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sahara’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Sahara’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sahara’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
