About this Dog
Approx. DOB: 3/14/24 Current Weight(as of 8/2/24. 20pds Adoption Fee: $250 includes 1 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness. Wally was dumped in a small town along with his sister. He is a happy and joyful pup and loves to play. Wally has some medical issues with his back and hind leg. Radiographs showed a lumbar vertebral malformation. He will need to be on joint supplements for life. He also experienced a seizure and it is possible he could have more but at this time only one has been witnessed by his foster. Wally's medical issues DO NOT slow him down, He acts like a normal puppy, playful, loving and a zest for life! He can outlast any puppy when playing, running outside or inside. He loves every dog and person he meets. He is a sweetheart who craves human touch and love. He is crate trained but not fully housebroken yet. He really needs someone that has more time to really work with him on this. He is a smart little guy and is a people pleaser so that really helps him learn new skills. We were working on the sit command but it seems like he has a hard time getting his rump in the right position to accomplish the command. Give this little guy a chance! Just fill out that application to meet him to fall in love. At our adoption events at the Lee Summit Petco he is our star. Always loving on every new person he meets there and then rolling on his back to get belly rubs. He is a real ham. Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption. All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting/adopting one of them just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch.

Adopt Wally and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Wally's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Wally's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Wally, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Wally's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wally was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Wally’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Wally’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wally’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
