Contact Lindsey Crosby at 315-396-2837 for more information or to adopt the pet.Maggie is a 3-4 year old mix of Labrador retriever and plott hound. She weighs about 65 lbs, is spayed and UTD on shots and has perfectly sparkling clean teeth. She gets along well with other dogs and while is highly annoying to cats, she isn’t aggressive toward them. She is very friendly with people, least for nail trims, bathing, giving medication, removing stolen objects, etc. She knows some basic commands and walks OK on leash but can use more training. She is house-trained and previously used a dog door. Her ideal home would have a person home much of the time, another friendly and playful dog and a securely fenced yard. Maggie has an excellent nose and would excel at scent work, barn hunt or search and rescue. She’s also a huge water lover! Maggie does express signs of separation anxiety and should be crated when not under supervision. Hopefully this behavior passes when she feels comfortable and safe in her new home. Her owner passed away unexpectedly, and she is currently staying with family, but it’s not a long term solution. She will be adopted out with all her supplies including a large, secure crate. Please contact her foster mom, Lindsey, at 315-396-2837 for additional information or to meet Maggie!

Adopt Maggie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Maggie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Maggie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Maggie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Maggie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maggie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maggie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Maggie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maggie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
