About this Dog
Meet Wednesday a.k.a. Winnie! This absolutely beautiful, sweet, silly, pocket sized lady is looking for her forever home. She is the ultimate companion dog and thrives in an environment where she can relax and hang out with her person/people. Winnie absolutely loves going for walks and sun bathing on the deck. She’s really so lovely to spend time with for those activities as she is an excellent non-reactive walker and a very chill hang partner. Winnie is technically a senior but is new to her golden years so she still very much has a twist of spunk a much younger dog would have. She’s an expert fetcher and will play and bring the ball back every. single. time. and also has a chatty side and makes all kinds of happy “woo woos” to express herself when feelin’ herself! It’s very charming and silly. We can truly attest to her attributes because unlike the average rescue dog we have extensive knowledge of her past. Winnie was adopted many many years ago after being rescued from a neglectful situation. She was adopted by the most wonderful, loving and caring person who gave her an excellent life and was Winnie’s BFF. Tragically for Winnie her person fought and lost an ugly battle with cancer leaving Winnie lonely, confused, and facing having to start her life again. We have helped her through the difficult transition, loved her through her mourning, and now know she is ready to open her heart again and find happiness. All those wonderful years after being rescued were spent as the only dog, tick as thieves, bonded to her person. Now that Winnie has had to return to foster care she has had to not only deal with a huge life change but is also now re-experiencing living with a pack of dogs and it’s just too much for her. Even though she is friendly/neutral with the other dogs in the home while on walks or through gates etc Winnie panics when face to face for an off leash interaction. So while it seems she cannot share a home with another dogs she is great at going out in public and being totally dog neutral. She goes with her dog friends to the beach, the farmers market, patio sitting at restaurants, just about everywhere! it’s such a nice featured about her and makes for a truly wonderful and enjoyable dog for someone wanting one dog at home but also wanting a dog to do all cool life stuff with! Adopt Winnie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Winnie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Winnie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Winnie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Winnie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Winnie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Winnie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Winnie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Winnie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
