About this Dog
Dawn came to the shelter from the city pound when her legal hold time expired. She's a strong and muscular pit bull type dog who is about 3 years old. She's really quite beautiful. She does have a particularly interesting vocal style when she's excited. She has been vet checked and spayed and her fee is $150. Dawn is a happy, affectionate, and athletic girl who loves people. She could be okay with male dogs, but seems to dislike other female dogs, which is not unusual. We're thinking she'd be best in a home without small kids due to her strength. Cats? We have no way of knowing. She will require some basic obedience training but seems happy and eager to please. Exercise is a definite must to keep her happy. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.

Adopt Dawn and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dawn's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Dawn's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Dawn, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Dawn's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dawn was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dawn’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Dawn’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dawn’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
