About this Dog
Halsey is gem of a girl. She is sweet. You can see by the pictures she looks like she's smiling all the time. She likes treats but would not say she's treat motivated. Her training motivation is to please you, to learn to be with you. She loves walks and walks easily on the leash. She walks naturally next to your knee, looking up for cues she's doing things right. Well not all the time. She is a curious girl, sniffing for who knows what! Once she gets on the trail of a sniff she's on it. Also, she does love her toys!!Playful, sweet, just the right size for any space! Her forever family will be well rewarded for all of that too. Plus those cute little forehead wrinkles will entertain you! After having a slumber party with a lovely volunteer, this is what they had to say about this sweet and easygoing girl:- was good in the car- politely explored the house. When she found a tennis ball, she carried it around with her for a while (eventually dropping it in the kitchen). - she heard my dog barking behind a closed door, but did not react to it- when I sat down, she immediately climbed in my lap and wanted to cuddle. She is super affectionate.- after checking out the house, she passed out on the bean bag - eventually she moved to the bed, where she really seemed to enjoy the soft blanket. She rolled herself inside of the blanket, and then promptly fell off the bed. - ate a full bowl of kibble before sleep, and in the morning. In the morning, when I opened the food bin, she stuck her head in the bin and started eating straight from there. (But politely moved when I asked her to). She also took the tennis ball and dropped it in her food bowl (on purpose), then ate the kibble around the tennis ball. - Then she made it a mission to find all the tennis balls in the house, and made a pile of them:) - Occasionally she would come by and dropped tennis balls in my lap. She also met my neighbors and they played fetch with her. She was very friendly.- We took her on a walk to the neighborhood park, as well as Mueller Park. She is easy to walk, and very curious. She will mildly pull towards whatever it is she finds interesting (a squirrel, ducks, a large weirdly-shaped leaf, a turtle). - I briefly left her in my room with the door closed, and she behaved- House-trained, no accidents or unwanted behaviors noticed

Adopt *HALSEY and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, *HALSEY's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is *HALSEY's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the *HALSEY, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming *HALSEY's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *HALSEY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *HALSEY’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the *HALSEY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *HALSEY’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
